Where to go on vacation in April
April is the ideal time to go on a trip. Few tourists, semi-empty beaches, and long excursions through concrete jungles can be endured even without a panama hat and SPF. We tell you where to go on vacation in April in Russia and abroad.

Where to go to the sea
Egypt
Perhaps one of the most popular countries among Russian tourists. No wonder, because in April you can grab a ticket for the Moscow — Sharm El Sheikh route much cheaper than in winter.

In mid-spring, the air in Egypt warms up to +28 degrees, and the water to +24. So, coming here, you won't suffer from the heat. This will allow you to visit the most interesting sights: the pyramids in Giza, Luxor with the tombs of the pharaohs, mosques, water parks, and bazaars. And don't forget about the Red Sea: its waters are a “lure” for divers and snorkeling enthusiasts.
Maldives
When planning a trip to the Maldives in April, you don't have to worry about the temperature — the thermometer stays at +30 degrees almost all year round in the country. This location is a must-visit for those who are truly tired. The main activity in the Maldives is “lying down” on the shore of the Indian Ocean on white sand. Otherwise, nothing prevents you from trying diving or surfing here. Moreover, a visa is not required for trips here if you stay in the country for no more than 90 days.
Cuba
A long flight for a great vacation. April is considered one of the best months for a holiday in Cuba. Come to the capital, Havana, if you want to visit as many cultural and historical sights as possible. For a beach holiday, we recommend going to the resorts of Varadero, Cayo Guillermo, Playa Esmeralda. In general, cigars, rum, and great company are the key to a cool trip to the Caribbean.

Thailand
Very warm, satisfying, and humid… That's how you can describe Thailand in April. And mid-spring is the last chance to relax in the country without fear of heavy rains. The daytime temperature does not drop below +30 degrees, so tourists tired of winter will be delighted. All that remains is to choose where to go: Koh Samui, Pattaya, Phuket, or Bangkok, rich in cultural attractions.
Morocco
Far away and so beautiful! You can enter Morocco for up to 90 days without a visa to enjoy the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to relaxing by the water, be sure to go and see all the best attractions. Be sure to allocate one day each during your trip to hospitable Casablanca, ancient Essaouira, and colorful Marrakech.

Abkhazia
One of the most budget-friendly options for travel in April. In spring, there are still few tourists in Abkhazia, but the weather is already pleasant — the air warms up to +20 degrees. It's worth coming here at least to observe nature awakening from its long winter hibernation at Lake Ritsa, in Pitsunda, or Gagra.
Armenia
April in Armenia is an excellent period for those who want to go on vacation. There aren't many tourists at this time, and the air is already quite warm, the sun is shining, and the food is still delicious. Climbing the “Cascade” in Yerevan, going on a tasting tour to the “Ararat” brandy factory, or simply wandering with friends at the foot of the mountains — these are important things to do before a hot May, which will energize you for achievements.

Turkey
April is hardly suitable for a beach holiday — perhaps only for walks along the sea. But for visiting cultural attractions and establishments with delicious food — it's perfect. Purple wisteria blooms everywhere, the air is still fresh, and there aren't many tourists in the cities. Come to Antalya to walk through the Old City and see ancient mosques, or to Alanya, where you can warm up and go on the most interesting excursions.
Traveling in Russia
Moscow
Well, have you made it to the capital? Grab a ticket from St. Petersburg to Moscow to do everything at once. April in Moscow is good not only for walking along Arbat and Patriarch Ponds but also for visiting spring fairs and the Pushkin Museum. However, we recommend starting with sightseeing boat tours around the city to see the full scale of Moscow right away.

Nizhny Novgorod Region
It's time to swap the Moscow Kremlin for the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, and the high speeds of the capital for a leisurely holiday. There are tons of options for recreation: you can leisurely stroll through the A. S. Pushkin “Boldino” museum-reserve, take a ride on the Nizhny Novgorod cable car, admiring the panorama of the Volga, or simply arrange a gastronomic tour of Nizhny Novgorod. The latter, by the way, is a must-do — the food here is truly excellent, no matter which restaurant or cafe you visit.
Krasnodar Krai
If there's paradise on Earth, it's Krasnodar Krai… in April. At this time, ticket prices are still pleasant, there aren't many tourists, and the weather is already superb. Of course, swimming in the Black Sea is unlikely, but enjoying the gentle sun while walking through Krasnodar or Sochi is quite possible. In the capital, be sure to visit Krasnodar Park, take a photo on Krasnaya Street, and head to the sea.

Where to relax with a child
Kaliningrad Region
If the south of Russia has become tiresome for you as a traveler, head to the northwest of the country, to the Baltic Sea. A trip here with a child is worth your attention at least because you can show them unusual architecture and the amazing nature of the region. Be sure to visit the Curonian Spit, go to the Kaliningrad Zoo, and check out the Museum of the World Ocean. The latter, of course, is a must-visit for the most curious kids and their parents.

Tatarstan
Family travelers will definitely enjoy Tatarstan — there are plenty of entertainments for adults and children here. When you come here, be sure to visit the “Ekiyat” puppet theater, check out the Zoobotanical Garden, and the Museum of Natural History of Tatarstan. Finally, you can head to the “Riviera” water park to ride cool slides and just swim in the pool.
Saint Petersburg
The Northern Capital also awakens from a long winter in April, making it especially beautiful. If you can't live without culture, be sure to take your child to the Russian Museum or the Hermitage. Afterward, visit the Oceanarium or the Planetarium on the Obvodny Canal embankment. For the most active, we recommend a trip to Vyborg or Kronstadt: both have wonderful nature and architecture. In general, stay in St. Petersburg until May — then you'll like it even more.

We wish you a great spring, vivid impressions, and the most memorable travels!
