Where to leave your car near Pulkovo Airport

Pulkovo is a welcoming airport, but strict with those who linger in the departure zone. The free 15 minutes fly by faster than you can get your suitcase out, and then the meter starts running at full speed. If you decided to go to the airport in your own car, and not by taxi, a logical question arises: where to park it so that the parking cost does not exceed the price of a St. Petersburg – Sochi flight ticket? We have studied all options – from official to private.

Official Pulkovo Airport Parking Lots

There are several parking zones in the immediate vicinity of the airport, but all of them are paid. It is important to choose the right place in advance, as parking lots are divided into short-term, long-term, and universal, and the cost depends on this.

Short-term (P2): It's only a 2-4 minute walk from here to the airport building, designed for 332 parking spaces, cost – 400 ₽ for every 30 minutes. There are charging stations for electric vehicles.

Long-term (P4): You'll have to walk 10-12 minutes to the terminal entrance, there are 1,050 parking spaces, a day will cost 1,100 ₽, a week – 7,000 ₽ (starting from the seventh day).

Universal (P1, P8, P13): On average, they are a couple of minutes from the airport. P1: 560 spaces, 1 hour – 1,100 ₽, 1 day – 2,100 ₽. P8: 1 hour – 800 ₽, 1 day – 1,500 ₽ (here you can get an annual pass). P13: 703 spaces, 30 minutes (for the first 5 hours) – 300 ₽, 1 day (from the 6th hour) – 1,200 ₽.

There is also a free parking lot on Pulkovskoye Highway southwest of the intersection with Vnukovskaya Street, in the direction of travel from the center of St. Petersburg to Pulkovo. However, it only has 120 spaces and is located 3 km from the airport building, so you will either have to walk along the road or find transport that will take you there in 3-5 minutes.

Not ready to overpay and looking for where to leave your car near Pulkovo for cheaper? Such options also exist.

First Parking Station

A modern parking lot 1.5 km from Pulkovo; a shuttle will take you directly to the terminal in 5-10 minutes. The territory has a cafe with a summer terrace, a lounge room, a children's corner, TV, Wi-Fi, WC, so waiting for the transfer will be comfortable. You can book a spot online, pay with cash or card, plus they will help you pack your luggage. There is an air compressor and a universal jump starter for cars.

"Aeroparkovka"

Four minutes by free bus, and you are at the airport. You book the parking date and time in advance, pay (by card or cash on site), sign a responsible storage agreement, and then board the shuttle. Upon return, you call, and they will take you back to your car. In winter, they will additionally clear it of snow, help you start it, and even warm it up. Convenient!

Cost: from two to six days – 400 ₽, from seven to 13 days – 350 ₽, from 14 days and beyond – 300 ₽.

Park2Travel

There is also a free transfer here, but only if you leave your car for more than two days; otherwise, you will be charged 350 ₽ for the trip to Pulkovo. The transportation of skis, snowboards, and other sports equipment will cost the same amount, for each direction. The trip to the airport will take 4 minutes. There are 550 parking spaces, some of which are covered. While your car waits for your trip to end, they can refill your air conditioner, change oil, brake pads, and filters.

"Parkovochka"

The operating scheme is the same: booking, payment, contract, trip to Pulkovo. After collecting your luggage, call the duty driver, and you will be taken back to your car by minibus. A discount system is provided for regular customers. The parking lot has video surveillance, the ability to inflate tires, and pack luggage. The transfer is paid (350 ₽) if you leave the car for only one day; after that, no payment is taken. However, for the transportation of winter sports equipment, a fee will be charged in any case.
