Given its status as a local airport serving light aviation, the range of services at Dalnerechensk Airport (DLR) is minimal. You will not find the infrastructure typical of large international hubs with boutiques and food courts here. Everything is arranged simply and functionally to ensure passengers have a comfortable wait for a short flight.
Dining and Shops
There are no full-service restaurants or cafes on the terminal premises. The building may house a small kiosk or a vending machine with water and snacks, but their availability and assortment can change. Since the flight time to Vladivostok or Khabarovsk is relatively short, in-flight catering on DHC-6 aircraft is usually not provided (or limited to water).
Passengers are strongly advised to have a meal in the city before leaving for the airport and to take a bottle of water and a light snack with them for the journey, especially if travelling with children.
Waiting Lounges and Connectivity
The airport is equipped with one general waiting hall. This is a small room with seats where passengers await boarding. Separate VIP lounges or business lounges are not provided here — all travellers are in equal conditions. Due to the compactness and low passenger flow, the hall is usually quiet and there are always free seats.
Regarding connectivity:
- Wi-Fi: A public Wi-Fi network may be absent. It is recommended to rely on your operator's mobile internet (coverage in the airport area is generally stable).
- Charging Gadgets: There are no specialised stands with USB ports, but standard power sockets can be found in the waiting hall. If you need to charge your phone, it is better to have your own adapter and cable.
Financial Services
There are no bank branches or currency exchange points in the terminal. ATMs may also be absent directly within the terminal building. We recommend withdrawing cash in advance while in the centre of Dalnerechensk, as payment for additional services (for example, excess baggage) may require cash.
Medical Assistance and Security
A security screening point operates at the airport to ensure flight safety. In case of feeling unwell, passengers can approach airport staff, who will provide a first aid kit or call an ambulance from the city. There is no specialised medical centre with inpatient facilities in the building.
Passengers with Children
There is typically no special playroom or mother-and-child room in the terminal. Considering that check-in procedures are quick, a long wait will not be required. Tourists with little ones are advised to bring toys or books to occupy the child before departure.
Passengers with Reduced Mobility
The single-storey terminal building is convenient for citizens with limited mobility, as there are no stairs or elevators. The exit to boarding and the path to the aircraft are on a level surface. Airport staff are always ready to provide personal assistance during check-in, screening, and boarding. It is recommended to notify the airline of the need for assistance when booking your ticket.
Hotels
There is no on-site hotel or sleep capsules at the airport. Since the airport is located very close to the city, passengers requiring overnight accommodation will find it most convenient to stay in the hotels of Dalnerechensk. The journey to the centre by taxi will take no more than 15 minutes. Small economy-class hotels and guest houses are available in the city.
