A journey to the cultural heart of the North is incomplete without a visit to the Museum and Exhibition Center, which is rightfully considered one of the most high-tech museums in the country. Located in the city of Kogalym, this center has become a true symbol of how modern technology can breathe new life into the historical heritage of the Russia region.

Founded in 2011, the center combined the best collections of local history and fine arts. Today, it is a space covering more than 1,500 square meters, where multimedia installations stand alongside rare artifacts. Visitors can do more than just look at the exhibits; they can literally immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Russian North through original design solutions.
A special significance is given to the site by the presence of a branch of the Russian Museum—the first project of its kind beyond the Urals. This makes the center a unique platform where the rugged history of the oil region meets refined classical art, creating a unique cultural mix interesting for both adults and children.
