The heart of the historical center and the starting point of the city's chronicle—this is how Peace Square (Ploshchad Mira) can be described. Located in Krasnoyarsk, on the picturesque Strelka at the confluence of the Yenisei and Kacha rivers, this location is a "place of power" for residents and guests alike. It was here in the 17th century that the first fortress of Russia was established in this territory. Today, the square is a modern, fully pedestrian space where historical heritage meets avant-garde art.

One of the main architectural landmarks is the Museum Center "Ploshchad Mira". It is the largest platform for contemporary art in Siberia, housed in a building that is itself considered a masterpiece of Soviet modernism. Its forms echo the outlines of the famous rocks in the Stolby Nature Reserve, while inside lie multi-level labyrinths of exhibitions and the famous "Red Halls," which have preserved the unique design of the Soviet era.
The space around the square is filled with iconic symbols: here you will see the majestic Triumphal Arch, the monument to the legendary Commander Rezanov, and the touching "White Horse" sculpture. Special attention is drawn to the unusual paving stones in front of the philharmonic hall, designed in the form of black and white piano keys, highlighting the square's status as the main cultural stage of Krasnoyarsk.
