Station History
The historic station building was constructed in 1925 for the Seaboard Air Line railroad. The project was designed by the architectural firm Harvey & Clarke in the then-popular Spanish Revival style. Over the decades, the station played a key role in the region's transport system. In 1991, a large-scale renovation was carried out, which allowed the historic appearance of the building to be preserved, including unique masonry and decorative elements, while adapting it to modern safety and comfort standards.
