Where to find information about fare rules and penalties?
Why are fare rules presented in English?
In booking systems, rules are presented in text format in English, take from 2 to 10 pages, and contain a large number of specialized terms. Currently, airlines do not have a single standard for presenting fare rules. For your convenience, we have implemented the option βTranslate with Google Translateβ when reviewing exchange and refund conditions.
What is most important in fare rules?
You may need to return a purchased airline ticket or make changes to it. Fare rules determine penalties for ticket refunds, as well as for exchanging it for a different departure date or another flight.
The rules stipulate all restrictions and conditions for refunds or exchanges (deadlines, possible penalties, and surcharges). Quite often, cheap airline tickets are non-refundable, so when booking, it is always necessary to study the relevant section of the fare rules to protect yourself from potential difficulties.
For example, it is important to know that if a passenger does not show up for the first segment of the flight, the remaining segments will be canceled. In this case, the passenger can request a ticket refund according to the fare conditions in the No Show section.
What other information is contained in the fare rules?
Fare rules define the conditions for selling and using an airline ticket by a passenger and include the following points:
β Main conditions:
Seat selection in the aircraft cabin;
Open departure/arrival dates;
Minimum and maximum stay periods at the destination;
Stopovers at the transfer point for transit passengers;
Upgrade to a higher class of service at check-in;
Fare combination.
β Penalties for ticket refunds:
Ticket refund more than 24 hours before scheduled departure;
Ticket refund less than 24 hours before scheduled departure;
Ticket refund after flight departure (seat cancellation conditions, No Show conditions, etc.).
β Cost of making changes to the issued transportation:
Change of flight conditions (subject to availability of seats at the paid fare);
Change of flight conditions in case of no-show.
β Discounts for children;
β Free baggage allowance.
Where can I view the fare rules for the selected flight?
On the Payment step, at the bottom of the screen, click on the link for refund and exchange conditions.

At the bottom of the opened window, click on Fare Rules.
The fare application rules will be displayed in the pop-up window.
