Yes, absolutely! Infant tickets (according to airline rules, an infant is a child who has not yet reached 2 years of age) are only booked in the same order as the accompanying adults.

It is not possible to book an infant ticket in a separate order. However, if you decided to take an infant with you after you already bought your own ticket, we can often add an infant ticket manually. Just contact us, and we will check everything.

Whether the ticket will be free depends on two factors:

  1. Whether your flight is within Russia or abroad;

  2. Whether the infant will fly on an adult's lap/in a special bassinet or in a separate seat.

If you are carrying an infant on your lap or in a bassinet and flying within Russia, it is usually free.

If you are flying abroad, the price of an infant ticket without a separate seat is usually 10% of the adult passenger's fare.

Important to know:

  • On the website and in the app, you can only buy a ticket for an infant without a separate seat. We show this when booking tickets:

  • There must be at least one adult passenger (18 years or older) in the order. The accompanying person will be automatically designated as the first adult in the order.

  • We can only book an infant ticket for a separate seat manually. The price is usually the same as for a child under 12 years old — please write to us, and we will check. You can do this in the chat on the main page of the website or app, or in your personal account, select the desired order → «Другие действия» → «Оформление отдельного билета на ребёнка» and fill in all the required fields.

Things we recommend clarifying with your chosen airline before purchasing a ticket, for your and your baby's comfort:

  • Not all airlines provide bassinets for infants.

  • A foldable stroller can usually be carried free of charge. Many airlines allow you to check the stroller at the gate and retrieve it at the gate upon arrival.

  • Baby food required for the flight can usually be carried in hand luggage in excess of the standard allowance, but always in compliance with liquid transportation rules.

  • Many airlines also offer a special children's menu for the flight, but this needs to be ordered in advance — usually no later than 48 hours before departure.
