Not necessarily. To check in for a flight, it's enough to show the document you used to purchase the ticket — you will be found in the passenger list by your last name and first name, and the document number will be verified.

However, in some cases, the itinerary receipt can be useful. For example, you will see your entire route, terminals, departure times, and flight numbers.

And if you are flying abroad, it's better to print the itinerary receipt. It will help confirm that:

– you are flying onward within 24 hours;

– you have a return ticket;

– you purchased the ticket, and you have its number and the airline's booking reference.

If you can't print the itinerary receipt, you can take a photo of it or download our app for Android, iOS and Huawei. There, you can access PDF files of receipts even without internet.
