How to enter passenger document number?
You need to enter the series and number of the document completely, without spaces or other characters.
Russian Federation internal passport โ ten digits of the series and number consecutively, for example: 4007123456.
Russian Federation international passport โ nine digits of the series and number consecutively, for example: 711234567.
Russian Federation birth certificate (for children under 14 years old) โ a Roman numeral (entered with Latin letters I, V, X, etc.), two Cyrillic letters (A, ะ, ะ, ะฎ, etc. are common) and six Arabic numerals. For example: VIIะฎะ123456.
In national passports of other countries letters are also found. Please note: they are always Latin!
For example, in the passport number of a citizen of Belarus MP1234567, the series MP consists of Latin letters (mp, em pee), not Cyrillic (ะผั, em er).
If these letters are entered in Cyrillic, during data transliteration in the international booking system, the document number will appear as MR1234567, which will not match the data in the passport, and any data discrepancy may lead to refusal of check-in for the flight.
