On long-distance trains, passengers are allowed to carry hand luggage free of charge, in addition to small personal items, weighing no more than 36 kg per 1 travel document (ticket). The sum of the three dimensions of hand luggage must not exceed 180 cm. In carriages with 2-berth compartments or SV class, the hand luggage allowance is 50 kg.

If you want to carry larger or heavier items, you need to register them as checked baggage.

Passengers with children and disabled persons with limited mobility are allowed to carry a baby stroller and a wheelchair, as well as other technical means necessary for their movement, free of charge and in excess of the standard allowance.
