What is prohibited on an airplane?
Explosive and illuminating substances:
gunpowder;
cartridges, including for gas and hunting weapons;
firecrackers;
sparklers;
pyrotechnic devices: signal and illuminating flares, signal cartridges, detonator matches, etc.;
TNT, dynamite, tolite, ammonal, and other explosive substances;
items imitating explosive substances.
Flammable substances:
aerosols, such as spray paint, with the exception of hairspray, deodorant, and other aerosols intended for personal care;
all types of fuel (gasoline);
lighter fluid;
gas burner, all types of household gas;
paint and solvents (acetone).
Chemicals, caustic and corrosive substances:
chlorine, including for pools;
liquid bleach;
hydrochloric, sulfuric, and nitric acid;
brake fluid;
mercury;
oxidizing substances and organic peroxides;
white, yellow, and red phosphorus, potassium, sodium, metallic calcium and their alloys, calcium phosphide.
Radioactive materials:
All types of radioactive substances are prohibited on an airplane.
Weapons*:
pistols, revolvers, rifles, carbines, and other firearms, gas, pneumatic weapons;
stun devices.
* weapons are prohibited on an airplane if the aircraft is not equipped with special containers for weapon transportation or the passenger does not have the appropriate permits
Additionally, any other substances, items, and cargo that could be used as a weapon to attack passengers, the aircraft crew, or that pose a threat to the aircraft's flight are prohibited on board the aircraft.
What else is prohibited:
items that could damage the aircraft or harm passengers and property on board;
animals and birds (except for pets and service dogs);
insects, reptiles, rodents;
fish stocking material;
experimental and sick animals;
any items and substances prohibited by the legislation of the Russian Federation, international rules, or the laws of the country of departure, destination, or transit.
