How to use Evernote for travel planning
Today we will tell you how you can plan your trip using Evernote. What is Evernote? It's an electronic notebook. But thanks to its many built-in features, it can become an indispensable assistant when planning your trip. Where to start? First, you need to download Evernote from the official website and install it on your computer. If you don't have your computer or laptop at hand, you can access your notebook via the website. Thanks to cloud technology, all your notebooks and notes are automatically synchronized with each other.
1. Create a notebook
Evernote allows you to create any number of notebooks. Think in advance about how your information will be structured. If you plan to visit a specific city, create a separate notebook for it, for example, "Trip to London" or simply "London". We will put all travel information there: tickets, hotel reservations, information on all attractions we want to visit, etc.
2. Install Evernote Web Clipper
Web Clipper is an indispensable assistant for copying interesting information, videos, and images from the internet.
Once you install this browser extension, you can save your favorite articles, images, videos, and individual texts to your Evernote notebook. It's very convenient! Just select the desired text and click on the Evernote icon in your browser. 3. Don't forget to add tags To avoid getting lost in your own notes, don't forget to add tags (keywords) to each entry. This will help you quickly find the information you need.

For example, next to a note about a museum, add the tag "Museums". Since there are many attractions with free entry in London, we marked these places with an additional tag "Free". Now, when we need to find all the free attractions in London that we've saved, we just need to type "Free" into the search bar or click on the corresponding tag in the list. Another way to use tags is to organize by day. Next to each note, you can add a tag with the date you plan to visit that place. For example, "Day 1" or 20/08/2013, etc. Such tags can be added later, right before the trip, to create a detailed plan.
4. Make lists
Evernote allows you not only to create simple text notes but also to make lists. Thanks to this, you can easily create a traveler's checklist so you don't forget anything.
5. Install the app on your phone Your notes will always be with you if you install Evernote on your phone or tablet. Now you definitely won't need a guide. All information, e-tickets, and maps can be stored on your phone.
6. Take notes directly from your phone Evernote on your phone is not only for accessing information at any time; you can also create new notes with it. For example, if you see an interesting poster, writing down the location, address, dates, and name of the event is not very convenient, but taking a photo and saving it to Evernote takes just a few seconds. You can add not only tags to this note so you don't lose it, but also a reminder. That's it! Now you know that with the help of an electronic notebook, you can make your trip simpler and more interesting.
