Where to fly on an A380?
The Airbus A380 is currently considered not only the largest (accommodating up to 853 passengers) airliner in the world, but also the most comfortable.
Compared to other aircraft, the noise level in the A380 cabin is reduced by 50%, and in addition, higher air pressure is maintained inside the aircraft. These improvements help reduce passenger fatigue during travel.
As a rule, the upper deck of the aircraft is occupied by first and business classes.
Each passenger has a spacious seat that converts into a bed; for convenience, passengers are provided with mattresses.
Each passenger has their own refrigerator with refreshing drinks and an entertainment media system.
In the tail section of the aircraft, there is a bar with complimentary hot and cold drinks and snacks,
as well as two spacious shower cabins!
The economy class on the A380 is more spacious than that of its competitors. With a 10-seat-per-row configuration, the seat width is 48 cm, and the pitch between seat rows is also increased.

Unfortunately, the A380 does not yet fly to Russia. Only two airports are currently certified to receive this type of aircraft: Domodedovo (Moscow) and Tolmachevo (Novosibirsk). However, you can certainly buy a flight on Kupi.com with a layover, where the second segment of the flight is operated by an A380 airliner. Currently, A380 aircraft are part of the fleet of 6 airlines:
- Singapore Airlines on routes from Singapore to Sydney, London (Heathrow), Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Tokyo (Narita), Zurich, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Los Angeles.
- Qantas Airways on routes from Sydney to Los Angeles, from Sydney via Singapore to London, from Melbourne to Los Angeles and London (via Singapore).
- Emirates Airlines on routes from Dubai to London, Manchester, Bangkok, Toronto, Paris, Seoul, Beijing, Sydney, Auckland, Singapore, Jeddah, Hong Kong and New York, Shanghai, Johannesburg, Rome, Munich, Kuala Lumpur.
- Air France on routes from Paris to New York, Johannesburg, San Francisco, Tokyo, Montreal, Washington.
- Lufthansa on routes from Frankfurt to Johannesburg, Tokyo and Beijing.
- Korean Air on routes from Seoul to New York.
From a Russian passenger's perspective, the routes of the Australian airline Qantas Airways are the least attractive, as flights operate from Melbourne and Sydney to London and Los Angeles, with a stopover in Singapore. Australia is too far from us, and it's hardly justified to travel first to London or, even more so, to Los Angeles. For flights to Australia, you can use Qantas Airways on the Singapore-Australia segment, but Singapore Airlines flights are more rational for this direction. This airline flies not only to Australia but also to a number of European cities, such as London, Paris, and Zurich. It is quite possible to fly to Singapore on an A380 with a layover in one of the listed European cities, but it will not be possible to reach them by a domestic Singapore Airlines flight, and for the first segment of the flight, you will have to use the services of other airlines. Air France and Lufthansa flights are of significantly greater interest to Russian passengers. On Air France flights, you can fly from Paris to New York or Johannesburg on an A380, and get to Paris on an Air France flight itself. Lufthansa also flies to Johannesburg on an A380. The widest network of routes for Russian passengers is offered by the Dubai-based airline Emirates. This is due, firstly, to Emirates having the largest A380 fleet, and secondly, to Dubai's advantageous geographical location. It is precisely thanks to this geography that many A380 flights are optimal when flying both to the west and to the east. As for the possibility of A380 flights to Moscow, Emirates is the most likely pioneer.
