Best and Worst Airports in the World
Annually, the popular international website www.sleepinginairports.net compiles a ranking of the best and worst airports in the world.
In 2011, the top 10 best airports included:
1. Singapore, Singapore Changi Airport
Among the distinctive features of the airport are a large number of gardens (bamboo, orchid, and butterfly gardens, etc.), live music concerts, and a swimming pool with a jacuzzi. Have you ever seen an airport with a pool? Or with a jacuzzi?
Second place went to Hong Kong International Airport, most likely due to the presence of a golf course :)
Seoul Airport in South Korea (Incheon International Airport), which took third place, attracts visitors with Asia's largest 4D cinema.
Fourth place was awarded to Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), and fifth to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The latter, by the way, offers a wedding organization service. Those interested are offered 4 different options for holding the ceremony and banquet on the airport premises.
Munich Airport took sixth place. Its motto "More than an Airport" is not in vain; it truly has everything necessary not only for waiting for your flight but also for entertainment. A distinctive feature of Munich Airport is its observation deck.
The places were then distributed as follows:
7. Vancouver, Vancouver International Airport
8. Zurich, Zurich Airport
9. Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt International Airport
10. Toronto, Toronto Pearson International Airport
