Where you can fly from Krasnodar
Hooray, Krasnodar airport is open! It resumed operations after a three-year break: on September 17, 2025, the first flight from Moscow was greeted with a water arch by fire trucks. Flight restrictions were imposed for safety reasons, and flight delays and schedule disruptions continue here, but the very fact that it is now possible to reach Krasnodar by plane again is already a joy. We've figured out which cities and countries now have flights from Catherine II Airport (KRR).

Which Russian cities have direct flights from Krasnodar
Domestic flights are operated by Aeroflot, Pobeda, Smartavia, Ural Airlines, S7, Utair, Nordwind. Tickets are already available for flights to the following cities:
- Moscow (Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo airports): daily, 3 hours 40 minutes flight time;
- Saint Petersburg: daily, 4 h 20 m or 4 h 40 m;
- Novosibirsk: 4 h 50 m;
- Kazan: 3 h 25 m;
- Krasnoyarsk: 5 h 30 m;
- Yekaterinburg: 4 h;
- Ufa: 3 h 20 m.
For now, the list is quite modest, but over time the airport administration plans to expand the flight geography. Currently, its operation is limited by the operating hours – Rosaviatsiya (Federal Air Transport Agency) has allowed flights only from 9:00 to 19:00 with a maximum of five take-off and landing operations per hour.
We also found several mentions of flights from Krasnodar to Sochi and from Krasnodar to Surgut, but unfortunately, they are not yet listed in the schedule. We will keep an eye on the news!
Which foreign airports have direct flights from Krasnodar
Here, the near abroad and tourist destinations lead – Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, UAE, Egypt, and, of course, Turkey. In fact, the first international flight from Krasnodar went exactly there – to Istanbul. Currently, flights between countries are operated by Azimuth, Azur Air, and Aeroflot airlines; in October, the Turkish charter carrier Southwind Airlines plans to join them. Although the tourist season in Turkey will soon come to an end, flights from Krasnodar will help improve the situation at Sochi and Mineralnye Vody airports, which bore the main load. Now there are flights from Krasnodar to the following destinations:
- Antalya: 2 h 45 m;
- Dubai: 4 h 5 m;
- Istanbul: 2 h 30 m;
- Samarkand: 3 h 25 m;
- Yerevan: 1 h 40 m;
- Sharm El Sheikh: 4 h 10 m;
- Tbilisi: 1 h 30 m.
Istanbul and Dubai in this list look like the most promising and convenient options for connecting flights: with their help, it will be possible to reach the warm resorts of Thailand and China faster this winter.
