The infrastructure of the Svetlaya landing site corresponds to its status as an important but small transport hub in a remote area of Primorsky Krai. Passengers accustomed to the service of major international hubs should prepare for the trip in advance: there are no familiar Duty Free zones or business lounges here, and the range of services is limited to the bare essentials for a short wait for a flight.
Restaurants, Cafés, and Shops
There are no catering outlets or shops inside the service-passenger module. You cannot buy coffee, snacks, or souvenirs here. Travellers are strongly advised to stock up on water and food in advance, especially if you are flying with children. The nearest grocery stores are located in the settlement of Svetlaya itself, within walking distance or a few minutes' drive by car.
Waiting Lounges and VIP Services
The air terminal is a single compact heated module. There is no division into service classes; VIP lounges and business lounges are absent. A common small waiting room equipped with seats is available to all passengers, where one can take shelter from bad weather and wind before departure.
Connectivity and Electronics
Public Wi-Fi is not provided in the terminal. The quality of mobile internet depends on the coverage of mobile operators in the settlement itself (it is recommended to check the coverage area with your provider before the trip). There are no specialised stands for charging gadgets, but standard power sockets may be found in the hall. We advise you to carry a fully charged power bank.
Financial Services
ATMs, currency exchange points, and bank branches are absent on the airport territory. Cashless payment options in the settlement may be limited, so it is strongly recommended to carry a sufficient supply of cash to pay for transfers, accommodation, and purchases.
Medical Services and Safety
There is no specialised medical point in the building. Site staff have a first aid kit. In case of serious health problems, it is necessary to contact the paramedic-obstetric point (FAP) in the settlement of Svetlaya.
Passengers with Children
Mother and child rooms or play areas are not provided. Due to the compactness of the waiting room, parents with children stay in the general area. It is recommended to bring entertainment for the child for the journey (books, colouring books), as waiting times may increase due to weather conditions.
Passengers with Reduced Mobility
The new modular terminal is single-storey, which facilitates access for citizens with limited mobility. However, boarding the DHC-6 Twin Otter type aircraft is carried out via built-in airstairs. There are no special ambulifts at the site. Assistance with boarding and disembarking is provided by airport staff and the crew. You should inform Aurora Airlines about the need for assistance when purchasing a ticket.
Hotels and Accommodation
There are no hotels directly on the airport territory. Accommodation options are available only in the private sector of the Svetlaya settlement. Given the isolation of the locality, overnight stays should be arranged in advance through local residents or acquaintances, as classic hotels with online booking systems may not exist here.
