Both in winter and summer, humidity remains at a low level, which often guarantees clear skies and an absence of prolonged rains. The peak frequency of precipitation falls at the beginning of autumn. September is considered the month with the highest number of inclement days — their number can reach 11. In August and October, increased humidity is also observed (about 10 days with precipitation), and in October, rain is often replaced by wet snow as the weather cools.

When packing for Yerbogachen, it is important to consider the harsh climate of this region. Winter here is long and extremely cold: from November to March, the average temperature stays below -20°C, and on the coldest days, it can drop below -30°C. For a trip during this period, be sure to take quality thermal underwear, a windproof down jacket with a deep hood, and insulated trousers. Pay special attention to footwear — it should have thick soles and natural insulation, and do not forget a warm hat, scarf, and mittens.

Summer here is short but can be quite pleasant with temperatures reaching +24°C.
