Argyle Airport is designed with the future in mind and is capable of serving up to 1.5 million passengers per year. Its runway, 2,743 metres long, allows for the reception of large airliners, including the Boeing 747, which opened direct tourist routes to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from distant countries. For the convenience of travellers, the terminal is equipped with modern amenities, including two glass jet bridges for international flights, as well as shops and restaurants.
One of the key features of the airport is its role as a hub for travel through the Grenadines islands. A separate terminal for domestic flights ensures comfortable and quick transfers to flights bound for idyllic islands such as Bequia, Mustique, and Canouan, making Argyle the perfect starting point for exploring the entire archipelago. In addition to passenger transport, the airport is also a vital cargo centre, contributing to the country's economic development.
