The architectural project, designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, is a complex of pavilions harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape. Buildings of glass, wood, and copper literally rise from the ravine, surrounding two ponds fed by a natural spring. This unique concept allows visitors to enjoy artworks without losing touch with the surrounding forest landscapes and water features.
The museum's collection spans five centuries of American art, from the colonial era to the present day. In addition to extensive galleries, the complex, covering approximately 20,000 square meters, houses a library, educational centers, a restaurant, and a gift shop. Kilometers of walking trails wrap around the museum, connecting the park with the city center and allowing guests to combine a cultural outing with a walk in the fresh air. Admission to the museum is free, making it accessible to all.
