London Bridge is not just a name, but a genuine historical relic that unexpectedly found its second home in the Arizona desert, in Lake Havasu City. This amazing attraction is the very bridge that once spanned the Thames in London. Today, it is one of the most unusual and popular tourist spots in the USA, drawing travelers with its incredible story.

The story of its relocation is truly unique. In 1968, when the old London Bridge was deemed unable to handle increased traffic, it was put up for sale. American entrepreneur Robert McCulloch purchased it, after which the bridge was carefully dismantled, each of its stones numbered, transported across the Atlantic Ocean, and reassembled on the shores of artificial Lake Havasu. This ambitious project became a symbol of engineering ingenuity and bold vision.
Today, London Bridge connects the city's mainland with an island on the lake and serves as a hub of tourist life. A small "English corner" with shops and restaurants has grown around it. A walk across the bridge, under which the waters of the Bridgewater Channel now flow, allows you to not only touch history but also enjoy picturesque views of the lake and the surrounding landscape. This place is a prime example of how a historical monument can find a new life in a completely different corner of the world.
