Namangan Airport is actively developing to meet the growing needs of travellers. In 2021, it became the key "Eastern" hub for `Uzbekistan Airways`, specialising in flights based on a hybrid and low-cost model. Thanks to recent reconstruction, the capacity of the arrival terminal has significantly increased, reducing waiting times and making the arrival process more pleasant.
Immediate plans include further infrastructure expansion, including the construction of a new cargo terminal and increasing overall capacity to 1,000 passengers per hour. These improvements aim to transform the airport into a modern and convenient centre for tourists and business travellers exploring not only the Namangan Region, but the entire Fergana Valley.
