The passenger's date of birth can be fully changed on most airline tickets — provided that the ticket is issued for the correct passenger category.

For example, if you mistakenly entered 2014 as the passenger's year of birth (9 years old — category “child from 2 to 12 years old”), but it should have been 2004 (19 years old — category “adult passenger”), then correction is not possible; you will have to cancel the ticket and book a new one. However, if the category and, consequently, the applied flight fare are correct, then correcting the date of birth is not difficult.

✔ For tickets with foreign carriers (e.g., Turkish Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, Air Astana, and many others), in most cases, the date of birth can be corrected free of charge. Send a request on the order page — and we will help you with the correction.

✔ For tickets with many Russian airlines, correcting the date of birth is paid. We will provide you with an exact calculation upon request on the order page.

Cost of correcting passenger's date of birth on popular airline tickets (including all fees):

Aeroflot, S7 — from 600 RUB.

Ural Airlines — from 1,600 RUB.

Pobeda — from 1,400 RUB., depending on the number of flights on the ticket

Utair — from 1,800 RUB., depending on the number of flights on the ticket

Azimuth — from 4,100 RUB. (airline penalty for any correction — from 3,500 RUB.)

Nordwind — from 1,600 RUB., depending on the fare and number of flights on the ticket

Nordstar — from 1,600 RUB., depending on the number of flights on the ticket

Smartavia — from 1,600 RUB., depending on the number of flights on the ticket

✔ Sometimes it is more profitable to cancel the ticket on the day of booking (if this option is available) than to correct the passenger's date of birth.

If you noticed an error on the day of ticket purchase, write to our chat from your personal account or send a request on the order page, so that we can check the possibility of correcting or canceling the ticket for you and advise on the most cost-effective solution.
