Most airlines refund the full cost of the air ticket in case of visa denial. This information is specified in the fare rules. If you purchase a ticket before obtaining a visa, consult with our Care Service staff by going to the order page and clicking the Return button. 

In case of visa denial, an involuntary refund of the air ticket is processed. For this, you must provide supporting documents. For example, an official refusal on the letterhead of the consulate of the destination country or a copy of the passport page with a refusal stamp.

Please note that a delay in visa issuance is not a basis for a full refund.

Furthermore, refunds are only processed for visa denials to the destination country. For example, if two tickets were purchased for a flight to Paris, Vladivostok — Moscow and Moscow — Paris, then an involuntary refund can only be made for the Moscow — Paris ticket. The cancellation of the Vladivostok — Moscow ticket will be processed as a voluntary refund, if permitted by the fare conditions. If you booked a Vladivostok — Moscow — Paris ticket as a single order, the refund will be issued for the entire air ticket.

A denial of a transit visa is generally not sufficient grounds for an involuntary refund.
