If you haven't bought a ticket yet, please refer to the instructions for placing an order on Kupibilet.

Here we will outline the main recommendations for preparing for your flight and using your ticket.

1. Immediately after purchasing your ticket

โœ” Check your itinerary receipt

The passenger's full name, passport number, and date of birth must exactly match the data in their passport. Verify the flight route, date, and time of departure. If there is an error anywhere, please contact us via online chat as soon as possible to clarify the possibility of correction or cancellation of the ticket.

โœ” Print your itinerary receipt or save it on your phone

Many say that there's no need to print the itinerary receipt, but we recommend doing so to keep important flight information visible until you reach your destination. For international flights, you often need to show a return ticket, so it's best to have all itinerary receipts in English with you.

By the way, the Kupibilet mobile app allows you to access your booked tickets even without internet. Open your personal account in it beforehand โ€” and important data will always be at hand. Including in English!

2. While awaiting your departure date

โœ” Pay attention to the baggage allowance on your ticket

If you need to transport more than what is included in your flight fare, pay for excess baggage. It's better to arrange baggage payment in advance: it's always more expensive at the airport. We have a useful article on adding baggage after purchasing a ticket.

โœ” Order all special airline services in advance

If you require special meals on board, approval for animal transport, or, for example, a bassinet for an infant โ€” inform us via chat as early as possible, and we will make all necessary requests to the airline. Many services can only be arranged more than 48 hours before departure.

โœ” Monitor flight notifications

Sometimes the airline changes the departure time or flight number โ€” occasionally, you may need to re-issue your ticket even if the new details suit you. Therefore, do not miss emails and mobile push notifications from Kupibilet and from the airline you are flying with.

3. On the day of departure

โœ” Check in for your flight

You can check in online on the airline's website (it usually starts 24 hours before departure) or offline โ€” upon arrival at the airport. During check-in, a seat on the plane is assigned, and a boarding pass is generated, which must be printed.

Have you completed online check-in but can't print your boarding pass at home? No problem, you can get it at the airport โ€” at the check-in counter or at one of the self-check-in kiosks.

โœ” Arrive at the airport with enough time for pre-flight formalities

If you will be checking in for your flight at the airport and/or if you are flying with baggage, you need to be there two hours before departure for domestic flights within the Russian Federation or three hours for international flights. Prepare your passport and a printed (or at least saved on your phone) itinerary receipt: you will be issued a boarding pass based on these.

The check-in counter number for your flight will be displayed on the departure board in the airport hall.
