The warmest time is traditionally considered to be September and October, preceding the onset of the heavy rains.

The climate in Cuito can be described as moderately warm, without extreme heat, making the city comfortable to visit practically all year round. The hottest months are September and October, when the average daytime temperature reaches its peak, rising to +28°C...+29°C. This time, preceding the rainy season, is distinguished by the highest thermometer readings.
