Jorge Newbery Airfield (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery) is not merely a transport hub, but a true gateway into the heart of Buenos Aires, situated right on the banks of the wide Río de la Plata. Thanks to its unique location, travellers can find themselves in the bustling Palermo or Recoleta districts just 15 minutes after collecting their luggage, avoiding long transfers from the suburbs. The approach for landing here offers unforgettable impressions: it feels as though the liner is gliding over the water against the backdrop of an impressive skyline of city skyscrapers, creating one of the most picturesque window views in South America.

Airport Features and Benefits:
The main advantage of "Aeroparque" is its incredible proximity to the city limits. Unlike the larger Ezeiza Airport (EZE), which is located far outside the city, this airport allows you to save a significant amount of time travelling to your hotel. It is ideal for domestic flights across Argentina: the majority of flights to Iguazu, Mendoza, Bariloche, and other tourist centres depart from here.
The terminal has been recently modernised and expanded, receiving a new runway and updated waiting areas with river views. The airport serves both domestic flights and regional routes to neighbouring countries, such as Brazil and Uruguay. Cafes serving local coffee and medialunas (croissants), shops, and convenient access to taxis and city buses are available for passengers.
