An interesting feature of Teresina's climate is that the peak heat occurs precisely at the end of the dry season — September and October — when average maximums reach their highest values. This time is ideal for lovers of heat and cloudless skies.

The climate in Teresina is characterised by consistently high temperatures year-round, making the city one of the hottest places in Brazil.
