However, the main feature of the local weather is high humidity and frequent rainfall, which is likely in almost any month, even in the nominally "dry" season at the beginning of the year. Therefore, the basis of your wardrobe should be light, breathable clothing made of quick-drying fabrics. Be sure to put a high-quality raincoat, a light waterproof windbreaker, or a poncho in your suitcase — they will protect you from sudden downpours better than an umbrella, especially during active excursions.

For walking around the city and its surroundings, choose the most comfortable footwear with non-slip soles. Given that the number of rainy days per month varies from 20 to 30, trekking sandals or trainers that do not fear moisture and dry quickly would be ideal.
