This means there is a chance of precipitation in any season, but it is rarely prolonged or heavy.

The temperature pattern in Prague is characterized by significant fluctuations throughout the year, typical of a temperate continental climate. The coldest month is January, when the average air temperature is around 1.5°C. At night, the thermometer drops to an average of -0.9°C, while daytime highs usually reach 4.0°C. The hottest month is considered August, with an average temperature of 20.2°C. On August days, the air warms up to an average of 25.2°C, and nights remain quite warm, with a minimum temperature of around 15.3°C.

In spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November), the weather can be very different: from cool mornings to warm sunny days. During this period, a mid-season jacket, jumpers, cardigans, and comfortable trousers will be useful. In summer (June-August), it is usually warm in Prague, with average temperatures reaching +20-25°C. Bring light clothing: t-shirts, shorts, dresses. However, do not forget a light sweater or jacket for evening walks or in case of sudden rain. Sunscreen and a hat will also be useful on clear summer days.
