It is important for passengers to know that the station has a complex layout. Platforms for long-distance trains (TGV, Eurostar) are located on the lower level, while the RER commuter trains arrive on a separate level. The main exit (Sortie Disneyland Paris) leads directly to the park security checkpoints and the bus station. Inside the station, there are many information boards to help you find your way during transfers.

How to Get There

The most popular way to reach the station from central Paris is the RER line A commuter train. Trains depart from Châtelet - Les Halles, Auber, or Gare de Lyon stations in the direction of Marne-la-Vallée / Chessy. The journey takes approximately 35–40 minutes.

From Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), it is most convenient to use the high-speed TGV train: the trip takes just 10–12 minutes, which is significantly faster than a taxi. A taxi or transfer from central Paris will cost more and take about 60 minutes.

For those already staying within the resort area, most Disney hotels are within a 10–20 minute walk to the station through Disney Village, or accessible via free shuttle buses.

Services and Amenities

Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station is equipped with everything necessary for travellers. In the main hall, you will find numerous ticket vending machines (for both the Île-de-France region and long-distance destinations) as well as ticket counters with staff. Seating areas are provided for waiting, although vacant seats may be scarce during peak season.

Free Wi-Fi is available on the premises. There are mobile device charging points (the number of sockets is limited), paid restrooms, ATMs, and photo booths. Special attention is paid to safety and assistance: information desks and an escort service for people with disabilities are available.

Where to Eat

Directly inside the station building, the choice of dining establishments is limited to "on-the-go" formats. Here you will find chain coffee shops (such as Starbucks) and bakery kiosks like Brioche Dorée, where you can buy sandwiches, salads, and coffee. The average bill for a light snack is around 7–10 euros.

If time permits, we recommend exiting the station to the neighbouring Disney Village. Just a couple of minutes' walk away are McDonald's, Earl of Sandwich, Vapiano, and other restaurants to suit every taste and budget. This is the best option for a proper meal before your train departs.

Station History

The history of the station is inextricably linked to the creation of Euro Disney. The RER line station was opened in April 1992 specifically for the park's launch to ensure transport accessibility from Paris.

A major milestone was the opening of the terminal for high-speed TGV trains in 1994. This decision integrated the park into the pan-European railway network, allowing tourists from London (Eurostar), Brussels, and other cities to arrive directly at the attractions, bypassing transfers in Paris. Today, it is one of the busiest stations in France in terms of tourist flow.

Passenger Tips

Passengers are advised to arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before the train departs, and even earlier for Eurostar services due to passport control procedures. Watch the information boards closely: boarding for TGV trains closes 2 minutes before departure.

Be sure to validate (stamp) paper tickets in the yellow machines before accessing the platform. For security purposes, never leave luggage unattended — this can lead to the evacuation of the station and train delays. If you have an overnight wait, please note that the station closes for several hours at night, and it is not possible to stay inside.
