According to statistics, the difference between the minimum and maximum within a 24-hour period is often just about one degree. This means that eternal summer reigns in Agatti: the nights here are as warm as the days, and tourists are unlikely to need warm clothing for evening walks by the ocean.

Precipitation on Agatti Island is distributed extremely unevenly, clearly dividing the year into a dry season and a period of monsoon rains. The beginning of the year is the ideal time for sun lovers: from January to April, rain here is an exceptional rarity. During this time, a light raincoat or waterproof windbreaker will be essential to protect you from downpours without creating a "greenhouse effect". An umbrella on the island may be less practical due to sea winds, so it is better to opt for specialised clothing. In the dry season, lasting from January to April, the likelihood of rain is minimal, so you can limit yourself to a standard summer kit.

Regarding footwear, it is best to bring comfortable open sandals for walks and flip-flops for the beach; closed trainers may only be needed for the flight. Do not forget to pack water-resistant sunscreen with a high protection factor (SPF 50+), as the risk of sunburn is high even in cloudy weather. It is also recommended to have a light shawl or a long-sleeved shirt made of thin fabric to cover up from the scorching sun during the day or from the light sea breeze in the evening.
