How to get to Mysore

Rail travel is one of the most convenient ways to get to Mysore, as the city is served by the major Mysore Junction station. Regular express trains arrive here from the city of Bengaluru (rail distance about 128 km), including the famous high-speed Shatabdi Express.

If you are heading from the city of Coimbatore, the journey will be about 200 km and will require around 4.7 hours of time. Taxis in India are relatively affordable, but it is better to agree on the cost of the trip in advance or use official apps.
