The D. Kunayev House-Museum is one of the most significant memorial complexes in Kazakhstan, dedicated to the life and work of the prominent statesman Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich Kunayev. Located in the city of Almaty, this museum offers guests a rare opportunity to look into the personal space of a man whose contribution to the region's development is hard to overstate.

The complex combines a memorial apartment with authentic interiors and a modern museum space. Here, visitors can see authentic household items, an extensive library of 5,000 books, and the famous collection of 450 lighters that the owner collected over many years. The special atmosphere of the place allows one to feel the modesty and the scale of Dinmukhamed Akhmedovich's personality.
The museum is housed in a historic building that combines features of the Verny era and Kazakh national traditions. After a major update in 2022, the exhibition became even more interactive: visitors can now explore archival photographs and documents using multimedia technologies, making the visit educational for the whole family.
