Spring and autumn are transitional periods with more moderate and comfortable temperatures.

Precipitation in Chihuahua is extremely insignificant throughout the year. Most of the time it is very dry here. A slight increase in rainfall is observed during the summer months, from July to September; however, even during this period, rains are rare and short-lived, bringing no significant relief from the dryness. Therefore, when planning a trip, it is worth counting on predominantly clear and dry weather, regardless of the season.

In January, the coldest month, the average minimum temperature drops to 2.4°C, which is close to the freezing point. During the day, however, the air temperature can warm up to 18-20°C, creating comfortable conditions. A characteristic feature of the climate in Chihuahua throughout the year is the large difference between day and night temperatures, often exceeding 15°C, which is especially noticeable in the winter and spring months.

In winter, from December to February, daytime temperatures are more moderate (averaging 10-12°C), but nights and early mornings can be quite cold, with temperatures dropping to 2-4°C. During this period, you will need warm clothes: sweaters, a fleece jacket, a mid-season or winter jacket, and possibly a hat and gloves.

In spring (March-April) and autumn (October-November), the weather in Chihuahua is usually very pleasant, with warm days and cool evenings. Average temperatures during these periods vary from 15°C to 20°C. At this time, T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, light jumpers, jeans or trousers, as well as a light jacket or windbreaker for the evening, are ideal.
