This wonderful square is named after the twice Hero of the Soviet Union and famous fighter pilot Vasily Alexandrovich Zaitsev. Thus, Zaitsev Square is not just a popular place for recreation and walks, but also an important memorial site where the memory of an outstanding fellow citizen, whose name is forever inscribed in history, is carefully preserved.
