From November to March, the temperature often drops below -20°C, so the foundation of your wardrobe should be high-quality thermal underwear, wool sweaters, and a windproof down jacket with a hood. Be sure to bring insulated trousers, mittens (which provide better warmth than gloves), a voluminous scarf, and a hat, as well as winter boots with thick, non-slip soles for protection against the cold and ice.

Summer in this northern land is short and cool: even in July, the warmest month, the average temperature holds around +16°C. For a trip during the warmer season, it is best to stick to the principle of layering: t-shirts, fleece jackets, and a light coat will allow you to feel comfortable during temperature fluctuations.
