The history of this amazing place began in 1983 on the initiative of Alexander Petrovich Stankovsky. Over time, the project outgrew its club format, and in 1985, the zoo found its current home on Marshal Zhukov Street.

A significant milestone was 1994, when a special winter building was constructed to house heat-loving residents from southern regions. In subsequent years, the infrastructure actively expanded: an exhibition hall for aquarium fish and a terrarium opened, and since 2001, the Animal Rehabilitation Center has been operating to help wild animals in trouble.

Today, the Children's Zoo is not just an exhibition, but a serious educational base. More than 30 animal species, many of which are Red Data Book listed, successfully breed here. The staff, including doctors of science, continues the educational traditions established back in Soviet times, preserving an atmosphere of sincere love for nature.
