Estació de França (France Station) is arguably the most elegant and architecturally significant railway hub in Barcelona. Built in a style combining Classicism and Art Deco, the building impresses passengers with its monumental metal dome and luxurious marble finishing in the lobbies. The station is located in the historic centre, in immediate proximity to the Ciutadella Park and the Barceloneta district, making it a convenient departure point for travellers.
Unlike the modern Sants station, an atmosphere of Old Europe prevails here, yet all necessary functions for a comfortable journey are preserved. The station serves both regional trains across Catalonia and long-distance routes.

It is important for passengers to know that the station has a terminus structure, and the platforms are arranged in a curve, which makes orientation easier. The main entrance is located on the Avinguda del Marquès de l'Argentera side. Inside, navigation is intuitive: ticket counters and information boards are in the main hall, and access to trains is immediately beyond the turnstiles.
