Piarco International Airport (POS) is not just the main air gateway to Trinidad and Tobago, but a true hub of the Caribbean region. Located in the town of Piarco, it serves as the primary base for the Caribbean's largest airline, Caribbean Airlines, connecting the islands with numerous destinations in North and South America, as well as Europe. This modern airport, with its main terminal opened in 2001, has repeatedly been recognised for its high level of service, including being named the "Best Airport in the Caribbean" by Skytrax in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
