The climate of Arua belongs to the tropical savanna type, characterized by a clear transition between dry and wet seasons. Located in the northern part of Uganda, the city is influenced by equatorial monsoons, which makes the local landscape incredibly lush and green for most of the year.

Throughout the twelve months, the weather remains predominantly warm and comfortable. There are two main seasons: the dry season, lasting from December to February, and the rainy season, spanning from March to November.
