What to Do

The main action begins with an open-air safari bus ride to the island's peak. Along the way, you'll make several stops to admire the views of St. Croix and take vibrant photos while the guides share fun facts about the local nature. It's a great opportunity to get into the right mood before the main adrenaline rush.

You will complete three descent stages. The first line, Mongoose, serves as a warm-up, allowing you to get used to the height and equipment. The second and longest line, The Gauntlet, offers an unforgettable feeling of flying over a massive valley. The final descent, Carambola Run, is the fastest and brings you right to the base of an old sugar mill.

In addition to the flights, guests can watch the professional work of the guides, who often perform spectacular tricks. After completing all the descents, you can relax in the Welcome Center, grab a snack, and share your impressions with fellow travelers. This location is excellent for families, as the program is designed for participants of all skill levels.

Getting There

The attraction is located in the northwestern part of the island, near the town of Frederiksted. If you plan to get there on your own, it's best to rent a car and follow the navigation toward Estate River. Convenient parking for visitors is provided at the entrance to the Welcome Center.

For those arriving on the island via Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX), the trip by taxi or rental car will take about 30–40 minutes. It is worth noting that public transport on the island is limited, so a taxi or personal vehicle is the most reliable option.

Many hotels offer a pickup service directly to the starting point of the adventure. It is recommended to check for this option when booking your tour to save yourself any logistical concerns.

History & Facts

A zipline journey is not just about adrenaline, but also a chance to touch the rich past of the island of St. Croix. The territory covered by the course is dotted with sugar mill ruins that are over 200 years old. These stone giants serve as a reminder of the colonial era when the U.S. Virgin Islands were a global center for sugar production.

The founder of this unique project is Diane C. Burns, known locally as Top Gun. As a successful realtor and active community member, she brought to life the idea of eco-tourism that is carefully integrated into the historical landscape of the Carambola Valley.

During the safari bus ride, guides share stories about the development of agriculture on the island and the natural changes that have occurred over the centuries. Finishing the tour at the walls of an ancient mill allows for atmospheric photos that blend modern thrills with the site's centuries-old history.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy the adventure, you should plan for about 2–3 hours. This time includes registration, a mandatory safety briefing, a 30-minute ride to the mountaintop, and the flight across the three ziplines themselves.

The organizers strongly recommend arriving 30 minutes before your scheduled time. This allows you to get geared up and into a positive frame of mind without rushing. After the main program is over, you'll have time to relax at the Welcome Center and pick up some souvenirs.

Working Hours

The complex is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday. Operating hours are from 09:00 to 17:00. Sunday is the day off.
