Perched on a scenic hilltop surrounded by greenery, the Dalat Youth Prison Museum (also known as the Lam Dong Museum) is a place where the region's history comes to life in vivid detail. Located in Dalat, this cultural site is housed in an old French villa that once belonged to the father-in-law of Emperor Bao Dai.

Today, this complex showcases the heritage that Vietnam is proud of. Spanning over 2,000 square meters, it houses approximately 15,000 exhibits telling the story of the culture, nature, and complex history of these lands. It is a wonderful blend of colonial architecture and rich ethnographic collections.
Visitors are drawn not only to the displays themselves but also to the unique atmosphere of the building, which has preserved the spirit of the 1930s. As a significant historical monument, the museum serves as an important window into South Vietnam's past for every traveler.
