Tho Xuan Airport, formerly known as Bai Thuong, is the aerial gateway to Thanh Hoa province, one of the dynamically developing regions of Vietnam. Combining civil and military purposes, this airport has evolved from a military airbase into a vital transport hub serving a growing flow of tourists and business travellers. Its history began in 1968, while civil flight services commenced in 2013, marking the starting point for a rapid increase in passenger traffic. Today, Tho Xuan plays a key role in the transport infrastructure of the North Central Coast region of Vietnam.
