The main moisture comes to the island between November and March. December is traditionally considered the wettest month, with about 11 days of precipitation. When planning a trip to Samos during the summer months, prioritize light clothing made from natural fabrics such as linen and cotton. Be sure to bring reliable sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, and a high-factor SPF sunscreen, as the sun in this region is very active.
