The majestic Darulaman Palace is one of the most impressive architectural landmarks for which Kabul and all of Afghanistan are known. Built in 1927 in the neoclassical style, this monumental building rises on a hill, and its name translates poetically as "Abode of Peace."

The palace is a large U-shaped structure over 30 meters high, with 150 rooms. Its architectural appearance was the result of a unique collaboration between Afghan craftsmen and European engineers, reflected in the combination of classical colonnades, copper dome towers, and exquisite interior decor.
Today, the fully restored Darulaman Palace is once again open to visitors, serving as a symbol of revival and the preservation of cultural traditions. Inside, guests will find marble spiral staircases, luxurious halls, and modern amenities that once made this building one of the most advanced in the country.
