The Jungle Adventure Play Tingalpa

About

Imagine endless tropical thickets hidden under the roof of a vast, modern complex. Jungle Adventure Play Tingalpa is Queensland's largest indoor entertainment hub, spanning an impressive 6,000 square meters. Located in the Brisbane suburbs, this park has become a true magnet for families seeking adventure regardless of the weather.

The main highlight is the four-level Jungle Time playground, where rope ladders, twisty slides, and interactive zones create a real quest for explorers of all ages. As you approach the building, you're greeted by a unique art piece: a real airplane that has "landed" right into the center's facade, setting the tone for a journey into the jungle world.

In this part of Australia, it's hard to find a place with more thoughtful infrastructure for children and adults. In addition to extreme attractions, there are professional zones for toddlers, a 16-hole mini-golf course, and cozy cafes where parents can relax in comfort while watching their little heroes in a climate-controlled and safe environment.

What to Do

There is something for everyone here—from cautious toddlers to adrenaline-seeking teenagers. One of the main attractions is The Hawk—an impressive 140-meter indoor zipline that flies over visitors' heads at a height of eight meters. For those who love vertical challenges, the Tribal Climb walls are open with a reliable auto-belay system for safe summiting.

Fans of team games and active challenges can test themselves on the Gorilla Warrior Ninja Course or take a leap of faith onto the Jungle Jump inflatable cushion. For those who prefer a more relaxed yet competitive experience, there is a 16-hole safari-themed mini-golf course, where the decor transports players straight to the African savannah.

The central atrium is always bustling with fun thanks to cannons firing blue balls, while the Cub's Junior Play areas provide a safe environment for the youngest guests. While the kids develop coordination and courage, adults can enjoy excellent coffee or a full dinner at the Vines restaurant, which serves pizza and even alcoholic beverages.

Getting There

The most convenient way to reach Jungle Adventure Play is by car. The center is located in Tingalpa at 31 Proprietary St. Plan your trip from Brisbane city center in advance: the drive takes between 20 and 30 minutes depending on traffic. Use the real airplane built into the building's facade along Wynnum Road as a landmark—it's almost impossible to miss.

If you prefer public transport, take the buses that run along Wynnum Road. The nearest stops are a 10–15 minute walk from the entrance to the play center. Taxis or ride-sharing services are also excellent options: the trip from the airport in Australia (Brisbane) is about 25 kilometers and takes half an hour.

Free parking is available on-site for visitors with their own cars. It is recommended to arrive 15–20 minutes before your booked time to complete registration and sign the necessary safety waivers.

History & Facts

The story of this ambitious project began in June 2020. Despite the global challenges of the time, Jungle Adventure Play Tingalpa opened its doors, instantly becoming the largest indoor entertainment hub in the state of Queensland. The creators aimed to go beyond typical playrooms, offering a large-scale "jungle in the city" concept.

Soon after opening, the complex began to expand rapidly. Specialized dining locations were added to the main play area: the cozy Base Camp Café and the Vines restaurant, transforming the center into a full-day family destination. A landmark event was the launch of The Hawk, officially recognized as the longest indoor zipline in the Southern Hemisphere.

Today, the brand continues to grow, opening new branches and constantly updating the obstacle park. Attention to detail, such as the 16-hole safari-style mini-golf and professional climbing zones, has allowed the center to maintain its status as a regional leader in family entertainment for many years.

Time Needed

To give children enough time to try the main attractions and run around to their heart's content, you typically need 2 to 4 hours. This is sufficient for conquering the labyrinths and visiting several extreme zones, such as the zipline or climbing walls.

If you plan a full family lunch at the local restaurant and want to play mini-golf without rushing, it’s better to set aside half a day. Keep in mind that intense physical activity tires young explorers out fairly quickly, and after a couple of hours, many need a break in a quiet zone.

Working Hours

The center is welcoming to visitors daily, though the schedule varies depending on the day of the week. Most of the time, the facility is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making it ideal for daytime family outings.

On Fridays and Saturdays, Jungle Adventure Play extends its hours: until 6:00 PM on Friday and until 8:00 PM on Saturday, allowing for evening games and celebrations. It is recommended to check the current schedule on the official website before visiting, as hours may be adjusted on public holidays.
