Even in the nominal winter season, which falls on December, January, and February, the weather remains pleasantly summery. January is considered the "coolest" month, yet the average air temperature is a comfortable +25.5°C. During this time, daytime readings stay around +29°C, and nights bring a light freshness as the thermometer drops to +21...+22°C.

Summer in this region of Cuba is characterized by true tropical heat. The hottest period occurs in July and August, when the average temperature rises to +29.6°C. During the day, the air warms up to +33°C and above, creating conditions for a classic beach holiday, although the high temperature can feel quite intense. January and March also delight tourists with predominantly clear skies and a minimal number of cloudy days.

When packing for Manzanillo, favor light clothing made from natural breathable fabrics such as cotton and linen. Since the climate here is tropical and hot year-round with average daytime temperatures from +25°C to +30°C, the basis of your wardrobe will be t-shirts, shorts, and light summer dresses. Do not forget reliable sun protection: cream with high SPF, a wide-brimmed hat, and quality sunglasses, as ultraviolet radiation in Cuba is very active, especially during the midday hours.

Consider the seasonality of rainfall when planning your luggage. From May to October, the highest number of rainy days is observed (up to 20 days a month), so a compact umbrella or a light raincoat will be very useful. Winter months, such as December and January, offer drier weather, however, evenings can be refreshing when the temperature drops to +21°C. It is also worth remembering the high humidity, especially in the summer period: choose loose styles that do not restrict movement and allow the skin to breathe, avoiding dense synthetics.
