Imagine a true tropical oasis nestled among the forests of the northern country of Finland. Botania Botanical Garden is a unique blend of living nature, contemporary art, and cozy relaxation spaces located in the city of Joensuu. This place attracts visitors with its wonderful "art garden" atmosphere, where every corner is carefully curated.

The garden is divided into two parts: a picturesque outdoor area with a hilly landscape and a large-scale greenhouse. Inside the pavilion, five different climatic zones are recreated—from arid deserts to humid tropics. Here, you can see rare plants such as coffee and tea bushes, orchids, giant cacti, agave, and even exotic vanilla.
The garden's inhabitants add a special charm: vibrant tropical butterflies fly freely throughout the greenhouse, while talking parrots and a white cockatoo live in special houses. Botania is beautiful at any time of year: in summer, it delights with blooming larches and dahlias, and in winter, it transforms into a fairytale space with ice sculptures and festive illuminations.
