In the heart of the historic center of Reims lies a true gem — the Musée-Hôtel Le Vergeur. This is not just a museum in the traditional sense, but a luxurious historic mansion where time seems to have stood still. The building combines architectural features from the 13th and 16th centuries, presenting a harmonious blend of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

Its current appearance and rich collection are thanks to Hugues Krafft, a philanthropist and researcher who restored the building from ruins in the early 20th century and turned it into his residence. Today, visitors can see authentic interiors filled with rare furniture, decorative arts, and artifacts that tell the story of high-society life, for which France has been famous for centuries.
One of the museum's greatest prides is its unique collection of original engravings by Albrecht Dürer, including the famous "Apocalypse" and "Large Passion" series. Thanks to its intimate atmosphere and beautifully preserved halls, the Musée-Hôtel Le Vergeur is considered one of the most inspiring and authentic sites in the Champagne region.
